A warm hello from a brand-new marketplace

Welcome to Country Stalls.

A new home for the people who grow, bake, make, harvest and sell the good things found just down the road — and for everyone who would rather buy from them.

We really are brand new.The map will grow stall by stall, region by region — with our community helping shape what comes next.
Why we are here

Local should be easier to find — and easier to choose.

New Zealand is full of brilliant small growers, honesty boxes, roadside stalls, bakers, flower sellers, craftspeople, mobile traders and family-run shops. Too often, the hard part is not making something worth buying. It is being seen.

Country Stalls exists to close that gap. We bring independent sellers and nearby customers into one clear, useful place: a map for discovery, real stall pages for trust, and flexible ways to browse, buy, collect or visit.

We want someone with a surplus harvest, a great loaf, a roadside fridge or a tiny workshop to have a genuine path to market — without needing to become a marketing expert or build a complicated online store first.

Our mission

To help more local people earn from what they grow and create, while making it delightfully simple for customers to discover and support them.

What we are growing

A fairer path from local hands to local homes.

Make small sellers visible

A great stall should not stay a hidden gem. Map discovery, clear profiles and product listings help the right customers find it at the right moment.

Lower the barrier to starting

Selling a few trays of eggs or a season's harvest should not require an enterprise-sized budget. We make the first step simple and practical.

Protect seller choice

Cash, EFTPOS, direct arrangements or online checkout: sellers can use the tools that fit the way they already work and grow from there.

Keep value in communities

When buyers can choose local more often, more money, relationships and resilience stay close to the places where the goods were made.

Two ways in, one community

Discovering and selling should both feel simple.

For customers

Turn “I wonder what is nearby?” into a good local find.

  1. Search the live map or marketplace by location, stall type or product.
  2. Check the seller's story, hours, products, payment and collection details.
  3. Buy online where available, or head to the stall and buy directly.

For sellers

Put your gate, table, trailer, shop or side-hustle on the map.

  1. Create your stall page and place your public pin where customers should find you.
  2. Add photos, products, opening details and the ways people can pay or collect.
  3. Go live, share your page and manage the everyday details from your phone.

More choice, less gatekeeping

Healthy local markets need more ways in — not fewer.

Big retail and large marketplaces can be useful, but they should not be the only practical route between producers and customers. Country Stalls widens that route. We are here to help the smallest seller stand beside the established shop, to make direct local trade easier, and to give buyers a real alternative when they want one.

Your identity stays front and centreCustomers meet the stall and the people behind it — not a faceless catalogue.
Use what fitsStart with discovery, then add products, payments, delivery and other tools as they become useful.
Built with the communityWe are new, listening, and committed to improving around real sellers and real customers.
This is just the beginning

Come find something good — or put something good on the map.

Every new stall makes the map more useful. Every local purchase gives an independent seller one more reason to keep going. We would love you to be part of it.
